2020年はNECにとって、いろいろな意味で特別な年になります。

この4月から「2020中期経営計画」の最終年度が始まります。2018年度にカルチャー変革を始めとする変革に着手し、2019年度は業績の回復を目指すとともに、人事評価や業務プロセス、働き方の改革、さらにはNECのDX戦略の策定を進めています。2020年度はこれらを足場に、NECが本格的な攻勢に転ずる年です。皆さんには、新年度からフルスロットルで動くことができるよう準備をお願いします。

そして、いよいよこの7月から東京2020オリンピック・パラリンピックが開催されます。東京2020大会は、新しいNECの力が世界から試される大きな局面であると私は考えています。昨年のラグビーワールドカップ2019日本大会において、NECはオフィシャルスポンサーとして顔認証システムを始めとするパブリックセーフティの領域で大きな貢献を果たすことができました。この経験をもとに東京2020大会では、ゴールドパートナーとしてさらに大きなNECの力を世界に示して、これからの社会を支える新たな価値を社会に築いていきましょう。
