三菱電機、AIを活用した下水処理場向け曝気量制御技術を開発
省エネ性の高い下水処理を実現
東京, 2020年01月22日 - (JCN Newswire) - 三菱電機株式会社は、当社AI技術「Maisart(R)(マイサート)※1」を活用し、下水処理に必要な酸化処理を行う生物反応槽への流入水の水質(アンモニア濃度)を数時間先まで高精度に予測することにより、生物反応槽への過剰な曝気(ばっき、空気供給)を抑制する曝気量制御技術を開発しました。区画ごとに制御することにより、処理水質を維持しながら従来比約10%※2の曝気量削減を実現し、全国の年間電力消費量の約0.7%に相当する約70億kWh※3の電力を消費する下水処理場の電力消費量の削減に貢献します。
現在、国内の下水処理場の協力を得て本技術の効果を確認中です。
開発の特長
1. AIを活用した流入水質の高精度予測により、過剰な曝気を抑制
- 生物反応槽への流入水質(アンモニア濃度)をセンサーで取得し、当社AI技術「Maisart(マイサート)」を用いて、数時間後の流入水質を高精度に予測
- 流入水質の予測値を用いたフィードフォワード(FF)制御を従来の処理水質のフィードバック(FB)制御に組み合わせて、水質変動に対する曝気量制御の応答性を向上し、過剰な曝気を抑制
2. 生物反応槽の区画ごとに曝気量を制御し、従来比で曝気量約10%削減
- 生物反応槽の区画ごとに適切な曝気量となるよう個別に制御することで、処理水質を維持しながら、曝気量を従来比約10%削減
今後の展開
引き続き、実運転での制御の安定性や曝気量削減効果を検証し、国内外の下水処理場向け運転監視制御システムとして2020年度の事業化を目指します。
