トヨタとパナソニック、車載用角形電池事業に関する合弁会社の設立を決定

豊田, 2020年02月03日 - (JCN Newswire) - トヨタ自動車株式会社（以下、トヨタ）とパナソニック株式会社（以下、パナソニック）は、2019年1月22日に、車載用角形電池事業に関する新会社（以下、合弁会社）設立に向けた事業統合契約および合弁契約を締結して以降、合弁会社の設立に向けた準備を進めてまいりました。この度、合弁会社「プライムプラネットエナジー＆ソリューションズ株式会社」の設立および合弁会社の概要が決定しましたのでお知らせいたします。

これからの社会において、電池は自動車をはじめとする様々なモビリティにエネルギーを供給するための、また各種の環境問題解決のためのソリューションとして、人々の暮らしを支える中心的な役割を果たすものと考えています。
