TOYOTA、GRスープラ（3.0L）のエンジン改良型を発表

最高出力を14％向上

豊田, 2020年02月14日 - (JCN Newswire) - TOYOTAは、米国東部時間2月13日、フロリダ州デイトナでエンジンに改良を加え最高出力を高めたGRスープラ（3.0L）を発表しました。日本での発売は2020年秋以降を予定しています。

今回のエンジン改良では、エキゾーストマニホールドの構造変更や新ピストンの採用による圧縮比の変更を行いました。これにより、エンジン最高出力を従来型335hp/5,000-6,500rpmから382hp/5,800-6,500rpm（従来型比＋14％）、最大トルクを従来型365lb.ft.（ポンドフィート）/1,600-4,500rpmから368lb.ft./1,800-5,000rpmとしています。加速性能は、時速0-60Mileにおいて3.9秒（従来型比－0.2秒）とパワフルな走りに磨きをかけました。

さらに、フロント部にブレースを追加しボディ剛性の強化を図るとともに、それに合わせてサスペンションを再チューニングすることでコーナリング中の安定性を高めました。
