三菱電機、鎌倉製作所「新衛星生産棟」竣工のお知らせ

宇宙システム事業の規模拡大に向けて生産能力を増強

東京, 2020年02月18日 - (JCN Newswire) - 三菱電機株式会社は、鎌倉製作所（神奈川県鎌倉市）内に建設していた、人工衛星の組み立てから試験までを行う「新衛星生産棟」が、2月19日に竣工しますのでお知らせします。人工衛星の並行生産能力を10機から18機に増強することで、今後伸びが見込まれる国内の官需衛星と国内外の商用通信衛星の需要に対応し、宇宙システム事業の規模拡大を目指します。

新工場の特長

- 大型スペースチェンバーや大型振動試験機などを設置し、人工衛星の組立から試験まで一貫生産可能な工場を新設することで並行生産能力を10機から18機に向上
- 「e-F@ctory コンセプト※」の導入により受注から組立・出荷までの生産情報を一元化し、生産性・品質の改善サイクルを高速化することで、納期の短縮と高品質・高効率な生産を実現
- ヒートポンプ式空調システム、LED照明、スーパー高効率変圧器など最新の当社製省エネ機器を導入して消費エネルギーを削減することで、地球環境に配慮
