NEC、東京2020オリンピック・パラリンピックのスポンサーシップにおいて「業務用無線システム」のカテゴリー追加契約を締結

東京, 2020年02月18日 - (JCN Newswire) - NECは、公益財団法人東京オリンピック・パラリンピック競技大会組織委員会とのパートナー契約である「東京2020ゴールドパートナー」(注1)において、今回新たに「業務用無線システム」のカテゴリー追加契約を締結しました。

「東京2020ゴールドパートナー」は、東京2020オリンピック・パラリンピック競技大会(以下東京2020)を含むオリンピック・パラリンピックの日本代表選手団に関する「東京2020スポンサーシッププログラム」における国内最上位のパートナーと位置付けられるものです。

今回の追加契約により、東京2020におけるNECのスポンサーカテゴリーは、パブリックセーフティ先進製品(生体認証、行動検知・解析、ドローン)、ネットワーク製品(SDN(注2)、有線ネットワーク、無線ネットワーク)、業務用無線システムが対象となります。

NECは、東京2020の大会関係者の会場入場時における本人確認用途として顔認証システムを納入するなど(注3)、今後も様々な先進ICTを活用して大会運営をサポートしていきます。NECは、2020年度までの3カ年の中期経営計画「2020中期経営計画」においてセーフティ事業をグローバルでの成長エンジンに位置付けており、「NEC Safer Cities」(注4)実現に向けて今後も安全・安心な街づくりに貢献していきます。
