三菱造船、フィリピン共和国向け多目的船受注、2022年に2隻を完成・引渡し

東京, 2020年03月06日 - (JCN Newswire) - 三菱重工グループの三菱造船株式会社（社長：大倉浩治、本社：横浜市西区）は、多目的船2隻の建造で、フィリピン共和国と契約を締結しました。下関造船所で建造され、2022年に完成・引き渡される予定です。

本船は、長さ約94mの多目的船です。最大速力は24ノット以上で、4,000海里以上の航続距離能力を有します。また、排他的経済水域（EEZ）を監視する能力を持つ通信設備やヘリコプター用設備、遠隔操作型の無人潜水機、高速作業艇等を装備し、同国での海難事故や海上犯罪への迅速な対応能力の向上に寄与します。

本プロジェクトは、2016年10月にフィリピン共和国と日本国の間で「フィリピン沿岸警備隊海上安全対応能力強化事業（フェーズII）」として調印された円借款事業です。本邦技術活用条件が適用され、日本の造船技術の活用が期待されています。
