広汽本田汽車有限公司による、本田汽車（中国）有限公司の吸収合併について
東京, 2020年03月30日 - (JCN Newswire) - Hondaの中国における四輪生産販売合弁会社である広汽本田汽車有限公司（本社：広東省広州市、総経理：佐藤利彦）は、現地時間2020年3月29日に以下を発表しましたので、その内容をご案内いたします。
Hondaの中国合弁会社である広汽本田汽車有限公司（以下、広汽Honda）は、2020年4月1日付けで、その100％出資子会社である本田汽車（中国）有限公司＜以下、本田汽車（中国）＞を吸収合併します。これに伴い、本田汽車（中国）は、広汽Hondaの「広州開発区工場」に名称変更されます。
本田汽車（中国）は、中国初の四輪完成車生産輸出工場として2003年に設立されました。よりフレキシブルで高効率な生産稼働体制への進化、並びに事業体質の向上を目指し、2018年の広汽Hondaによる完全子会社化を経て、今回、同社により吸収合併されます。これに伴い名称変更される、広汽Honda「広州開発区工場」では、メキシコ向け「CITY（シティ）」の生産輸出を継続しつつ、新たに4月より中国国内向けの「ACCORD（アコード）」の生産を開始します。
広汽Hondaの生産能力は、今回、新たに加わる「広州開発区工場」の5万台を合わせて、77万台／年となります。広汽Hondaは、より高効率で柔軟性のある生産体制へと進化することで、お客様に価値ある商品をタイムリーにお届けし、移動の喜びの拡大を図ってまいります。
