NEC、ファクトリコンピュータエントリーモデルの新製品を発売

東京, 2020年04月20日 - (JCN Newswire) - NECは、24時間連続稼働が求められる設備監視や医療機関での利用に適したファクトリコンピュータエントリーモデル「FC-PMシリーズ」の新製品3機種「FC-P34W」「FC-P36K」「FC-P31X」を本日より販売開始します。

昨今、労働力人口の減少を背景に工場や生産現場の自動化、工程見える化のため、IoTシステムの導入に関心が高まっています。これらのシステム構築を実現するためには大容量データを高速処理する24時間連続で安定稼働が可能な高性能コンピュータが必要とされています。また、社会インフラ設備の監視や救急病院の医療システム、精密機器の生産管理などの運用を支えるファクトリコンピュータに関しては、24時間稼働する継続性や長期保守が求められています。

新製品は、SSDの採用や、新たにWindows Server(R) OSをプリインストールしたモデルを追加し、処理性能を向上させるとともに、従来機種同様に3年間の長期供給と、供給終了から最大10年間の長期保守により、これらのニーズに対応します。
