NTT・日立・リコー・東京電力、「電動車活用推進コンソーシアム」を設立

東京, 2020年05月11日 - (JCN Newswire) - 本日、日本電信電話株式会社、株式会社日立製作所、株式会社リコー、東京電力ホールディングス株式会社の4社は、企業・団体等、合計40事業者(別紙1参照)にご賛同いただき、電動業務用車両の普及を目的とした「電動車活用推進コンソーシアム(以下、「コンソーシアム」)」を設立いたしました。

地球温暖化の影響と思われる気候変動が世界的に進む中、企業・団体等に対しても脱炭素社会の実現に向けた具体的対策が求められている状況を踏まえ、日本国内のCO2排出量の約2割を占める運輸分門におけるCO2排出量削減方策として車両の電動化が期待されています。また、車両の電動化は、災害時には電気を取り出せる等、企業活動はもとより、地域の人々の生活を守る、災害に強いまちづくりへの貢献にもつながります。

車両の電動化に企業・団体等が一体となって取り組んでいくことは、こうした直近の社会的課題を解決することに加えて、SDGsへのさまざまな課題解決につながっていくことと考えています。

一方、この大きな潮流において、業務車両の電動化を検討しているものの、自らだけでは導入時の課題解決ができずに、電動化に踏み出せない企業・団体等も多数あります。

コンソーシアムは、こうした企業・団体等が課題を共有しながら、その解決に向け連携し共に取り組みを行うことで、電動車両の導入・活用を推進し、社会課題を解決すること、および持続可能な社会を実現することをめざします。
