ソニー、業界最小15um画素で、可視光から非可視光帯域まで撮像可能なSWIR（短波長赤外）イメージセンサー 2タイプを産業機器向けに商品化

小型、広帯域の撮像により、多様化する産業機器の発展に貢献

東京, 2020年05月12日 - (JCN Newswire) - ソニーは、産業機器向けに、業界最小※15um画素で小型化を実現し、可視光から非可視光である短波長赤外（SWIR：Short-Wavelength InfraRed）までの撮像を可能としたSWIRイメージセンサー 2タイプを商品化します。

本製品は、化合物半導体のInGaAs（インジウム・ガリウム・ヒ素）層でフォトダイオードを形成し、読出し回路を形成したSi（シリコン）層とCu-Cu（カッパー・カッパー）接続※2することで、広帯域・高感度を実現した独自のSWIRイメージセンサー技術“SenSWIR（センスワイア）”※3を採用しています。これにより、小型でありながら、可視光から非可視光である短波長赤外までの広帯域（波長：0.4um-1.7um）でシームレスな撮像が可能なSWIRイメージセンサーを実現しました。

本製品を搭載し、人間の眼には届かない波長の光もセンシングに活用することで、さまざまな用途に対応したカメラや検査装置などの開発が可能となり、多様化する産業機器の発展に貢献します。
