Honda、Gold Wingシリーズに「Android Auto(TM)」適用開始

東京, 2020年05月13日 - (JCN Newswire) - Hondaは、「Gold Wing（ゴールドウイング）」シリーズへ「Android Auto」※1を適用※2しました。現行Gold Wingシリーズ※3よりAndroid(TM)端末をお持ちのお客様も、音楽再生やナビゲーション機能、通話・メッセージ機能などシームレスにつながる各種アプリケーションサービスがご利用可能になります。

Gold Wingは、1975年に米国でGOLDWING GL1000を発売して以来、40年以上にわたりHondaのフラッグシップモデルとして進化してきました。北米を皮切りに2017年10月よりフルモデルチェンジ※4し、Apple CarPlay※5を二輪車として初採用※6。快適なライディングをアシストするナビゲーション機能をはじめ、アプリケーションに特化したサービスを備えることで多くのお客様にご好評をいただいております。

Android Autoは、シンプルなインターフェイスと音声入力機能を通じて、ライダーが運転への集中を保てるよう設計されています。Googleアシスタントの使用により、運転中にハンドルバーから手を離すことなく、お気に入りの音楽、メディア、またはメッセージアプリへ簡単にアクセスできるようになります。

日本国内では2020年6月15日より、ソフトウェアの更新方法をホームページにてご案内する予定です。今後、適用対象モデルを拡大することで、グローバルでより多くのお客様のバイクライフに、さらなる快適、利便性を提供していきます。
