マツダ、「知的財産に関する新型コロナウイルス感染症対策支援宣言」に参画

広島, 2020年05月28日 - (JCN Newswire) - マツダ株式会社（以下、マツダ）は、新型コロナウイルスの感染拡大防止を目的とする「知的財産に関する新型コロナウイルス感染症対策支援宣言」に参画しました。

マツダは、新型コロナウイルスの感染拡大を受けて、日々、最前線で尽力されている医療関係・地域の皆さまなどへの支援活動を進めています。これまでに、医療現場への支援として、備蓄しているマスクや医療用防護服の代替品となるレインコートを提供するとともに、広島県や地元の企業と連携して、フェイスシールドを供給しています。本宣言についても、業界の垣根を越えた取り組みとして、目的や趣旨に賛同し、このたび、参画することを決定しました。

本宣言は、新型コロナウイルス感染症のまん延を防ぐ治療薬・ワクチン・医療機器・感染防止製品などの開発・製造・提供を迅速に行うために、参画する企業や研究機関などが、一定期間、まん延終結を目的とした行為に対しての特許権、実用新案権、意匠権、著作権といった知的財産権を行使しないことを表明するものです。

今後もマツダは、医療関係の皆さまなどへの支援活動にとどまらず、地域社会やご協力いただいている地元のお取引先さまなどへの取り組みを継続して実施し、感染拡大防止に努めてまいります。
