NEC、ページプリンタ「MultiWriter」のラインアップを強化
官公庁や企業のセキュリティ強化、業務効率化に貢献
東京, 2020年06月03日 - (JCN Newswire) - NECは、官公庁や企業、教育機関向けに、ページプリンタ「MultiWriter(マルチライタ)シリーズ」のラインアップを強化し、本日より販売を開始します。
新製品のA3カラーモデルの2機種は、個人情報や機密情報を扱う基幹系ネットワークと通常業務を行うOA系ネットワークなど、複数系統のネットワークに同時接続する機能を強化し(注1)、ネットワーク分離によるセキュリティ強化を進める官公庁や企業での運用に適しています。さらに、無線LANへの対応により、PCやスマートフォン、タブレットなどのモバイル端末との接続/印刷(注2)が可能となり、流通・サービス業の接客フロアでモバイル端末から直接印刷するなど、業務効率化に貢献します。
昨今、情報セキュリティに関するガイドライン(注3)などにより、官公庁や企業、医療・教育機関などでは、基幹系ネットワークとOA系ネットワークの分離によるサイバ-セキュリティ対策が進んでいます。また、流通・サービス業の接客フロアなどでは、モバイル端末利用現場における無線LAN環境構築の必要性も高まっています。
NECでは、咋年2月発売のA3モノクロモデル(注4)、本年5月発売のA4カラー/モノクロモデル(注5)に続き、今回のA3カラーモデルの投入により、A3/A4・カラー/モノクロの4カテゴリーで複数系統のネットワーク同時接続や無線LAN対応を可能とし、官公庁や企業のセキュリティ強化や業務効率化へのニーズにきめ細かく対応します。
