NEC、画像解析で人の密集度合い(ソーシャルディスタンシング)をリアルタイムに可視化する技術を開発

既設カメラや撮影済みの映像からも全自動で判定

東京, 2020年06月11日 - (JCN Newswire) - NECは、駅や空港といった公共施設や店舗などの人が集まる場において、人と人が十分な距離を保てているかを判定して可視化するソーシャルディスタンシング判定技術を開発しました。

新型コロナウィルスの感染拡大を防ぐためには、人と人との距離を保つ(ソーシャルディスタンシング)が大きな課題となっています。

NECは、この課題に対してこれまで培ってきた映像解析技術を応用し、カメラ映像からソーシャルディスタンシングを判定する技術を開発しました。今回開発した技術を用いることで、施設に設置されている既設カメラの映像にすぐに適用し、多様な密集の状況を常時解析して、個人を特定しないかたちでソーシャルディスタンシングがどの程度確保できているかという安全の度合いをリアルタイムで数値化できます。

ソーシャルディスタンシングの解析結果をデジタルサイネージなどで表示することにより、公共施設、商業施設、商店街、オフィスビルなど様々な施設の利用者に、ソーシャルディスタンシングを確保し、密集回避を促すソリューションを実現できます。

NECは今後、映像解析技術などを組み合わせたソリューションの社会実装を目指します。
