日本自動車工業会、資金調達支援に向けた「助け合いプログラム」を発足

自動車業界初の互助的な取り組みで、技術・人財・技能を守り抜く

豊田, 2020年06月24日 - (JCN Newswire) - 一般社団法人日本自動車工業会（会長：豊田章男、以下自工会）は、自動車業界初の取組みとして、新型コロナウイルス危機下における自動車関連企業の資金調達を支援するための「助け合いプログラム」（以下、本プログラム）を、発足いたします。

先の自動車工業4団体（自工会、日本自動車部品工業会、日本自動車車体工業会、日本自動車機械器具工業会）での合同会見にて、自工会会長の豊田より、「我々自動車業界が持つ目利きの力を使って、未来に向けて絶対に失ってはいけない要素技術や人財と、資本をマッチングさせていく互助的な取組み」の導入に言及致しました。

本プログラムは、自工会より金融機関（三井住友銀行）に預け入れる預金を担保として信用保証を行う事で、資金調達を早期に必要とする自動車関連企業が、取引銀行から迅速に融資を受ける事を可能にする仕組みです。

当面必要な資金調達ニーズに迅速に対応するため、自工会を主体として立ち上げ、他3団体と連携しながら、「目利き」力を発揮し、支援の早期実現を目指します。

今後も業界内一致団結の上、コロナ危機の克服と日本経済復興の牽引役を果たしていけるよう、相互に支え合いながら努力を続けていく所存です。
