日立、日本版コネクト&マネージを実現する制御システムの開発の実施について
東京, 2020年06月30日 - (JCN Newswire) - 株式会社日立製作所(執行役社長兼CEO:東原 敏昭／以下、日立)は、国立研究開発法人新エネルギー・産業技術総合開発機構(理事長:石塚 博昭／以下、NEDO)が公募した「再生可能エネルギーの大量導入に向けた次世代電力ネットワーク安定化技術開発／研究開発項目(1)-1日本版コネクト&マネージ*1を実現する制御システムの開発」に応募し、採択されました。本事業は7月1日から2024年2月までの予定です。
2018年に閣議決定された「第5次エネルギー基本計画」において、2030年に向けた重要な施策の一つとして再生可能エネルギーの主力電源化へ向けた取り組みが掲げられており、再生可能エネルギーの系統への接続量は年々増加しています。発電設備を新たに空き容量がない系統に接続する場合には、流通設備等の増強を行う必要があります。一方、流通設備等の増強には多額の費用と時間を要するため、早期に再生可能エネルギーの導入を拡大するためには、「ノンファーム型接続」*2などの既存系統を有効に活用する取り組みが重要となります。
本事業では、一定の条件下で系統への接続を認める「ノンファーム型接続」といった日本版コネクト&マネージの仕組みを実現し、既存系統を最大限活用していくための効果的かつ合理的な制御システムの開発と実証を実施します。
日立は、本事業を通じて、既存系統を最大限活用できる仕組みの実現に貢献することで、電力の安定供給と再生可能エネルギー導入拡大の両立をめざします。
