Honda、モトクロス競技専用車「CRF450R」およびエンデューロ競技専用車「CRF450RX」をフルモデルチェンジし2021年モデルとして発売

東京, 2020年07月21日 - (JCN Newswire) - Hondaは、モトクロス競技専用車「CRF450R」とエンデューロ競技専用車「CRF450RX」のエンジン細部の仕様を見直し、扱いやすさを向上させるとともに、新設計のフレームなどにより軽量化を図るなどフルモデルチェンジし、2021年モデルとして受注期間限定※でそれぞれ2020年10月23日（金）に発売します。

CRF450R、CRF450RXともに、エンジンの排気ポートをストレート化し排気効率を上げることで、中・高回転域の出力向上を図るとともに、低回転域の扱いやすさを向上させました。クラッチシステムには、レースで培ったノウハウを投入した油圧クラッチを採用することで、クラッチの操作性を向上。

また、フレーム、スイングアームなどを新設計し、車体剛性の最適化とともに軽量化を図ることで、旋回性と安定性を高次元で両立。シングルマフラー化に伴い、サイドカバーなどの外装パーツを大幅にスリムにすることで、ライディング時のライダーの姿勢の自由度を大幅に向上させました。

CRF450RXは、CRF450Rをベースに、ライダーの手などを飛び石や枝から保護するナックルガードの標準装備をはじめ、エンデューロモデルとしての仕様を充実させました。

カラーリングは、両車種ともにHondaのモトクロスマシンのアイデンティティーを継承する力強さと情熱を表現するエクストリームレッドとしています。
