LEXUS、「ES」を一部改良

豊田, 2020年08月06日 - (JCN Newswire) - LEXUSは、「ES」を一部改良し、全国のレクサス店を通じて8月6日に発売しました。

2018年に日本に導入されたESは、発売時に量産車として世界で初めてデジタルアウターミラー＊1を採用しました。今回の一部改良では、デジタルアウターミラーを“F SPORT”に追加設定するとともに、走行時にモニターから見える他の車両、壁、障害物との距離感を測りやすくする距離目安線の表示機能を追加。車速に応じて車両後端から最小5m～最大30m＊2の距離を示す線を表示します。さらにパーキングサポートブレーキ（静止物＋後方接近車両）［PKSB＊3］やブラインドスポットモニター［BSM＊4］を全車標準設定し、予防安全装備を充実させました。

また、ハイブリッドバッテリーをニッケル水素電池からリチウムイオン電池に変更し、燃費性能を向上＊5させました。加えてマルチメディアシステムはSmartDeviceLink(TM)＊6、Apple CarPlay＊7やAndroid Auto(TM)＊8に対応。お使いのiPhone＊7やAndroid(TM)＊8スマートフォンを12.3インチワイドディスプレイと連携させることで、リモートタッチによる画面操作や音声操作が可能になりました。また、おくだけ充電の充電トレイと、センターコンソールのスマートフォン収納スペースを拡大し、より大きなサイズのスマートフォンに対応するなど利便性を向上させています。
