NEC、KMD子会社がノルウェーの債権回収ソフトウェア企業を買収

金融事業の顧客基盤とバリューチェーンを強化

東京, 2020年08月12日 - (JCN Newswire) - NECの子会社でデンマーク最大手のIT企業であるKMDは、同社の子会社であるBanqsoft(バンクソフト、注1)を通じて、ノルウェーのソフトウェア企業であるCONCENT(コンセント、注2)を買収します。買収手続きは2020年9月に完了予定です。

ノルウェーに本社を置くBanqsoftは、アセットファイナンス向けのソフトウェア事業やデジタルバンキング向けソフトウェア事業を中心に展開しており、北欧諸国、ポーランド、イギリスなどの様々な企業に導入実績を有しています。

他方、CONCENTは、北欧の債権回収ソフトウェア市場においてトップシェアを確保しており、144の地方自治体や100の債権回収代行会社などを顧客として有しています。

KMDは本買収により、顧客基盤の拡大に加えて事業統合シナジーによる金融事業のバリューチェーンの強化を図ります。

NECは2020年度までの3カ年の中期経営計画「2020中期経営計画」においてセーフティ事業をグローバルでの成長エンジンに位置づけ、ソフトウェアプラットフォームを活用したサービス型ビジネスへの転換を進めています。またKMDは中央・地方政府向けソリューション事業に加え、金融・保険向けソリューション事業を買収などにより強化しており、今回のBanqsoftによる買収もその取り組みの一つです。今後も両社は、M&Aや協業を通じてソリューションを強化し、事業を拡大していきます。
