日立オートモティブ電動機システムズ、米国に電動車両用モーター事業の新会社を設立

東京, 2020年09月04日 - (JCN Newswire) - 日立オートモティブ電動機システムズ株式会社(代表取締役社長:山口登／以下、日立オートモティブ電動機システムズ)は、アメリカ合衆国(以下、米国)のケンタッキー州に、電動車両用モーターの開発、製造および販売を行う新会社として、Hitachi Automotive Electric Motor Systems America, Inc.(President: 中村晋吾) を8月19日に設立しました。工場および事務所は、Hitachi Automotive Systems Americas, Inc.が所有するベレア市の既存建屋を活用し、量産開始は2022年度を想定していますがCOVID-19の影響を踏まえ慎重に判断していきます。

今回の新会社設立により、今後拡大していく米国の電動車両市場において、日立オートモティブ電動機システムズの事業基盤をさらに堅固なものとするとともに、米国での電動車両用モーターの需要拡大に応えていきます。
