JALとNEC、デジタル技術を活用した新たな旅行体験の実現に向けて協業開始

映像分析・生体認証技術を活用した実証実験を実施

東京, 2020年09月04日 - (JCN Newswire) - 日本航空株式会社(本社：東京都品川区、代表取締役社長：赤坂　祐二、以下「JAL」)と日本電気株式会社(本社：東京都港区、代表取締役執行役員社長兼CEO：新野　隆、以下「NEC」)は、デジタル技術を活用したNew Normal時代の安全で安心な旅の実現に向けた協業を開始しました。

昨今、新型コロナウイルスによる感染症は世界中の人々の行動様式に大きな影響を与えており、従来とは異なる価値観・社会に対応したスタイルへの変革が進んでいます。

今回は、NECが2019年1月から株式会社南紀白浜エアポート(本社：和歌山県西牟婁郡、代表取締役社長：岡田　信一郎) などと南紀白浜で行っている「IoTおもてなしサービス実証」(注1)にJALが参画し、映像分析や生体認証を活用した実証実験を実施します。JALはこの取り組みによって、待ち時間を感じさせないストレスフリーなお客さまの旅行体験の提供を、NECは生体認証データを活用して安全で快適な旅行体験の実現を目指します。
