マツダ、2019年度日本機械学会部門賞受賞について

広島, 2020年09月24日 - (JCN Newswire) - マツダ株式会社（以下、マツダ）の研究者が「直噴ガソリンエンジンの熱効率向上のための高圧縮比燃焼技術に関する研究開発」に関する実績において、一般社団法人日本機械学会より、2019年度日本機械学会エンジンシステム部門賞（技術業績賞）を受賞しました。

日本機械学会部門賞は、22部門の当該分野において、学術・技術の発展に貢献された方々の栄誉を称え、技術分野での業績が顕著である個人に贈られます。マツダ社員が日本機械学会部門賞を受賞するのは最近10年では通算5回目です。

マツダはSKYACTIV-G以降、ガソリンエンジンの熱効率改善のために高圧縮比化の研究開発をしてきました。今回、高圧縮比を実現する革新的な燃焼技術を研究開発した論文や、特許の実績が高く評価され、エンジンシステム部門賞を受賞しました。
