富士通、日本マイクロソフトと製造現場におけるローカル5Gを活用したシステムの有効性を検証

東京, 2020年10月08日 - (JCN Newswire) - 当社はこのたび、日本マイクロソフト株式会社（以下、日本マイクロソフト注1）と製造現場のデジタルトランスフォーメーション（DX）に向け、ローカル5Gを活用してリアルタイムに施設内のデータを可視化するシステムの有効性を検証しました。

本システムは、ローカル5Gの検証施設「FUJITSU コラボレーションラボ」（所在地：神奈川県川崎市）において、当社のローカル5Gネットワークを通して、同施設内を動く人や無人搬送車両の高精細映像、カメラやモバイル端末、サーバなどの稼働データを日本マイクロソフトの「Azure IoT Edge」（注2）プラットフォームにて分析し、当社のものづくりデジタルプレイス「COLMINA」（注3）上で、人や無人搬送車両、設備の状況を一元的に可視化するもので、ローカル5Gとクラウド環境を統合することにより、ネットワークやアプリケーション処理の負荷に応じた最適なシステムを実現しました。

今後、当社は日本マイクロソフトとともに、本検証で得られた知見をもとに、2020年度内に当社のネットワーク機器の製造拠点である小山工場での検証を実施し、グローバル展開も視野にソリューションの共同開発を進めていきます。

本検証については、10月14日（水曜日）から開催するオンライン形式のグローバルイベント「Fujitsu ActivateNow」にて紹介します。
