Wi-Fi センシングによるリアルタイムな混雑情報の提供

東京, 2020年10月26日 - (JCN Newswire) - 横浜国立大学(横浜市保土ケ谷区、学長：長谷部勇一)の持続可能なモビリティシステム研究拠点(代表：中村文彦(副学長))は、相鉄バス株式会社(本社・横浜市西区、取締役社長・菅谷雅夫、以下「相鉄バス」)および日本電気株式会社(本社：東京都港区、代表取締役執行役員社長兼 CEO：新野隆、以下「NEC」)と連携し、令和2年10月8日に締結された横浜国立大学と相鉄バスとの連携協定に基づき、路線バス車内の混雑度情報をリアルタイムに可視化するバス運行情報アプリ「YNUダイナミックバスマップ」を令和2年10月26日から試験公開します。

「YNUダイナミックバスマップ」では、横浜国立大学関係者が多く利用する相鉄バスの特定路線を対象に、Wi-Fiセンサーによって計測されたデータをもとにバス車内の混雑度を割り出し、バスの現在位置情報とあわせて地図上にリアルタイム表示しています。このアプリは2017年に横浜国立大学COIサテライトが開発した、路線バス運行情報表示アプリ「YNUナビ」をリニューアルしたものです。

本アプリの活用によりバス車内の混雑情報を事前に知ることで、新型コロナウイルスなど感染症への対応や、ベビーカーや車いすでの移動時などにおいて、人々が適切に混雑を避け、より安心・安全にバスを利用できるようになると期待されます。
