『東急ベル』×NECの『Tablet PaPeRo』“シニア向けタブレット端末を活用した在宅生活支援サービス”を共同開発・実証実験を開始

東京, 2021年01月19日 - (JCN Newswire) - 東急株式会社(以下、「東急」)と日本電気株式会社(以下、「NEC」)は、両社がこれまで培ってきたノウハウを生かし、シニア向けのタブレット端末を活用した在宅生活支援サービス(以下、「本サービス」)を共同開発し、2021年2月1日から2021年3月末を目途に東急線沿線にお住まいのシニア世代を対象に実証実験を実施します。

昨今、65歳以上の高齢者人口の割合が3割に迫る超高齢社会を迎え、高齢者のひとり暮らしも急増する中、生活に必要な食料品や日用品の購入が難しくなる「買い物困難者」問題の解消など、高齢者の孤立を防止していく必要性が高まっています。

本サービスは、NECのシニア向けタブレット端末「Tablet PaPeRo」に、東急が手掛けるホーム・コンビニエンスサービス「東急ベル」の買い物代行や、電球交換や家財の移動などの軽作業、ハウスクリーニングなどの「家ナカ」サービスを簡単な操作で申込みできる機能を搭載し、各種サービスを利用しやすくすることで、シニア世代のみなさまに寄りそった新たな生活支援サービスの提案・提供を目指します。
