東京医科歯科大学と富士通、新型コロナウイルス肺炎患者の重症化および看護師の業務量を予測するAIの共同研究を開始

東京, 2021年02月02日 - (JCN Newswire) - 国立大学法人東京医科歯科大学（注1）（以下、東京医科歯科大学）と富士通株式会社（注2）（以下、富士通）は、新型コロナウイルス感染症の診療に関わる医療現場の負担を軽減するシステムを開発するため、新型コロナウイルス肺炎患者の診療情報に基づく重症化予測やそれに伴う看護業務量予測などを行うAIの有効性を検証する共同研究を2021年2月2日に開始します。

共同研究では、胸部Ｘ線写真を用いた新型コロナウイルス肺炎罹患状況を判定するAIや、血液検査や病歴などの診療情報に基づき重症化を予測するAI、重症化予測データをもとに新型コロナウイルス肺炎患者の治療に伴う看護師の業務量を数値化するAIを活用し、患者の病床移動スケジュールも含め幅広く有効性を検証します。

両者は本共同研究により、医療分野におけるデジタルトランスフォーメーション（DX）を進め、医師の診療や看護師の配置計画、病床管理など、幅広く医療現場を支援するとともに、コロナ禍における安定的かつ継続的な病院経営への貢献を目指します。
