三菱電機、「レーダーによる津波の浸水深予測AI」を開発

津波検出とほぼ同時に浸水深を高精度予測し、迅速な避難計画の策定を支援

東京, 2021年02月04日 - (JCN Newswire) - 三菱電機株式会社は、一般財団法人建設工学研究振興会と共同で、当社AI技術「Maisart(R)（マイサート）※1」を活用し、レーダーで検出した海表面の流速値から、陸地での津波浸水深※2を津波検出とほぼ同時に高精度予測する「レーダーによる津波の浸水深予測AI」を開発しました。本技術により、津波検出後数秒程度の短時間で陸地での津波浸水深の高精度予測が可能となり、迅速な避難計画の策定支援と沿岸地域の防災・減災に貢献します。

開発の特長

AI技術「Maisart」で、津波の検出とほぼ同時に津波浸水深を高精度予測
- さまざまな地震による津波発生条件下（震源地、断層のずれ量、ずれ方向など）での海表面の流速と陸地での浸水深の関係を、AIが事前に学習
- 流速の面的観測が可能なレーダーで観測した遠方を含む広範囲の流速値をもとに、AIが津波検出とほぼ同時に陸地での津波浸水深を高精度に予測（誤差1m程度※3）
- 迅速な避難計画の策定と沿岸地域の防災・減災に貢献
