NEC、ローカル5Gに関する開発供給計画の認定を取得

東京, 2021年02月17日 - (JCN Newswire) - NECは、「特定高度情報通信技術活用システムの開発供給及び導入の促進に関する法律」(以下「本法律」)に基づくローカル5Gシステムの開発供給計画の認定の申請を行い、2月16日に開発供給計画を行う事業者として認定されました。本法律は5G等の高度な情報通信システムの開発供給及び導入について、サイバーセキュリティを確保したうえで、安全性・信頼性の向上を図りながら促進していくことを目的にしています。

今回の認定により、NECが提供する基地局およびコアネットワーク装置を2022年3月末までに導入する企業等は、所定の申請・審査を経て、法人税・所得税等の税制支援措置ならびに日本政策金融公庫等による金融支援措置の適用を受けることができます。ローカル5Gシステム導入に向けた設備投資を行う企業等の負担軽減が図られるとともに、ローカル5Gシステムのさらなる拡大につながることが期待されます。

NECは通信事業者向けのビジネスで培った無線技術やノウハウを活用し、ローカル5Gシステムを開発・提供しています。引き続きシステムの安全性・信頼性、供給安定性、およびオープン性を確保しながら、ローカル5Gシステムを提供し、企業や自治体の課題解決や新事業の創出に貢献していきます。
