東京, 2021年02月22日 - (JCN Newswire) - 日本電気株式会社(注1、以下 NEC)、凸版印刷株式会社(注2、以下凸版印刷)、株式会社マクニカ(注3、以下マクニカ)、株式会社コトバデザイン(注4、以下コトバデザイン)は、ローカル5GやMR (複合現実)(注5)を活用した新たな観光体験の実現に向けた実証実験を2月26日から3月1日まで、奈良県の平城宮跡歴史公園にて実施します。

新型コロナウイルス感染症の感染拡大防止を図りながら集客力向上を目指す「新たな日常」における観光として、屋外の観光資源とICTの融合による新たな観光体験への期待が高まっています。

このため、本実証ではローカル5Gを活用し、MRによる新たな歴史文化体験とAI自然会話(以下、AIコンダクター)による新たな園内移動体験を提供します。

なお、本実証は総務省から受託した令和2年度「地域課題解決型ローカル5G等の実現に向けた開発実証」のうち「観光・文化分野におけるローカル5G等の技術的条件等に関する調査検討(MR技術を活用した新たな観光体験の実現)」として実施します(注6)。
