昭和電工、エマルジョン製品の価格改定を発表
東京, 2021年02月26日 - (JCN Newswire) - 昭和電工株式会社（社長：森川 宏平）は、エマルジョン製品「ポリゾール(R)」の販売価格を次のとおり引き上げることを決定しました。
１．価格改定の内容
1)対象製品および値上げ幅
エチレン-酢酸ビニル系: 25円／kg
酢酸ビニル系: 20円／kg
2)実施時期
2021年3月15日出荷分より
２．価格改定の背景
エマルジョン製品「ポリゾール(R)」は、水を媒体に使用して有機溶剤等を含まないため、環境への負荷が低い製品として、住宅建材・建築・繊維加工・紙加工など様々な用途で利用される、日常生活に密接な関係を持つ合成樹脂です。
エマルジョン製品のうち、エチレン-酢酸ビニル系製品や酢酸ビニル系製品は主にエチレンや酢酸ビニルから製造されますが、これらの主原料であるナフサおよび酢酸の価格は、原油市況等の状況から上昇傾向にあり、エチレンや酢酸ビニルの価格も上昇しています。また、包装材・副資材・物流費等も値上がりを続けています。
当社はこれまでも、製造や物流の合理化を進めてコストダウンに努めてまいりましたが、これらの外部環境の変動によるコストの上昇は、当社の努力のみでの対応が困難であり、製品の安定供給体制を維持するため、お客様に価格改定をお願いせざるを得ないという結論に達しました。
