順天堂高齢者医療センターと富士通、コロナ禍における高齢者の運動機能や認知機能の低下を防ぐため遠隔デイサービスを実現するシステムの共同研究を開始

東京, 2021年03月02日 - (JCN Newswire) - 順天堂大学医学部附属順天堂東京江東高齢者医療センター（注1）（以下、順天堂高齢者医療センター）と富士通株式会社（注2）（以下、富士通）は、コロナ禍において通所介護サービス（以下、デイサービス）の利用が困難な高齢者の運動機能や認知機能の低下を防ぐ遠隔デイサービスの実現に向けて、オンラインで心身の状態を精緻に把握し、運動療法（注3）および芸術療法（注4）の提供から療法中の見守りまで幅広い支援を可能にするシステムを開発し、有効性を検証する共同研究を2021年3月2日から開始します。

本共同研究では、運動時の動画から身体の骨格座標や関節角度などを推定するAI技術や、画面上の表情から感情などを推定する表情認識AI技術、慣性センサー（注5）のデータから歩行特徴を抽出するデジタル化技術など、高齢者一人ひとりの状態に合わせた運動療法や芸術療法に必要な様々な技術を組み合わせたシステムの有効性を幅広く検証します。

両者は共同研究成果をもとに、オンライン化が進むニューノーマルな時代に向け、有事の際にも高齢者が遠隔で適切なサービスを継続的かつ安定的に受けられ、健康で幸福な生活を送れる環境づくりに貢献することを目指します。
