富士通、RE100の達成に向け、グループで最大規模の川崎工場で再生可能エネルギー100％調達を開始

東京, 2021年03月26日 - (JCN Newswire) - 当社グループは、2018年に国際的なイニシアチブである「RE100（注1）」に加盟し、国内外の当社グループ拠点で使用する電力における再生可能エネルギー（以下、再エネ）の利用を2030年までに40％以上、2050年までには100％にすることを目指しています。これまで再エネの導入にあたっては、供給量が潤沢である欧米拠点を中心に拡大してきましたが、国内での導入拡大が課題となっていました。

そこで、今後の国内での本格導入を見据え、当社では、フラッグシップモデルとして、当社グループで最大規模の川崎工場（本店）で使用する電力量を2021年4月1日より、すべて再エネに切り替えることとしました。なお、この取り組みは、国内グループ電力使用量の約5％に相当します。

今後も、これらの活動を通じ、中長期環境ビジョン「FUJITSU Climate and Energy Vision」に掲げた、当社グループの脱炭素化と、お客様・社会の脱炭素化および気候変動適応へ貢献していきます。
