カナダ自動車ジャーナリスト協会(The Automobile Journalists Association of Canada)は、カナダの自動車業界での有力ジャーナリスト、ライター、フォトグラファーによって構成されており、毎年カナダ・カー・オブ・ザ・イヤーおよびカナダ・ユーティリティ・カー・オブ・ザ・イヤーを選出します。MAZDA3は、スタイリング、品質、ドライビングポジション、静粛性、ダイナミック性能、安全性などが高く評価され、2021年3月30日（現地時間）にカナダ・カー・オブ・ザ・イヤー2021に選出されました。
