NEC、新たに那覇空港に顔認証技術を活用した税関検査場電子申告ゲートを提供

2021年4月より国内7空港で利用可能に

東京, 2021年04月20日 - (JCN Newswire) - NECは、那覇空港向けに、顔認証技術を活用した税関検査場電子申告ゲートを提供しました。税関検査場電子申告ゲートは、財務省税関による運用のもと新千歳空港・成田国際空港・羽田空港・中部国際空港・関西国際空港・福岡空港の国内6空港の税関検査場で2020年7月から稼働していますが、今回新たに那覇空港で本年4月から稼働開始します。

電子申告ゲートは、入国旅客による携帯品・別送品申告書の作成の簡易化やスピーディな申告・通関手続きを目的として、税関検査に利用されます。NECの顔認証技術を活用して、電子申告端末と出口ゲートでの本人確認を行います。また、スマートフォン向けアプリ(以下、税関申告アプリ)を用いた携帯品の電子申告により、申告・通関手続きの迅速化を図ります。NECは顔認証技術をはじめとするICTを活用し、税関検査場の混雑緩和と待ち時間の短縮に貢献していきます。

なお、電子申告ゲートは、NECの生体認証「Bio-IDiom」(注1)の中核技術であり世界No.1の認証精度(注2)を有するNECの顔認証技術を活用しています。
