NEC、国土交通省 関東地方整備局のインフラ分野のDXの取り組みを支援するためCADシンクライアントソリューションを提供
東京, 2021年04月21日 - (JCN Newswire) - NECは、国土交通省 関東地方整備局(以下、関東地方整備局)に、モバイルPCなどでもCADソフトの利用が可能になるCADシンクライアントソリューション(CAD on VDIソリューション)を提供しました。
近年、新型コロナウイルス感染症拡大を契機として、様々な産業分野で非接触・リモート型の働き方への転換が進んでおり、インフラ分野においてもDXの推進が求められています。
こうした中、関東地方整備局は2021年4月21日にインフラ分野のDX推進の未来を担う人材育成を行うため「関東DX・i-Construction人材育成センター」(所在地：千葉県松戸市)を開所しました。また同日インフラ分野のDX推進の交流拠点及び情報発信拠点として「関東DXルーム～Open Innovation Space～」(所在地：埼玉県さいたま市、以下 関東DXルーム)も開所しています(注)。
NECは、こうした関東地方整備局の取り組みを支援するため、GPUを搭載したシンクライアントシステム用のサーバを関東地方整備局の本局に設置、本サーバ上にCADソフトが利用できる仮想PC環境を構築することで、モバイルPCなどでもCADを利用できるCAD on VDIソリューションを提供しました。本ソリューションにより、将来的には関東地方整備局の職員が在宅勤務や外出先での関係機関との協議などを行うことが可能になります。
NECは今後もデジタル技術を活用したソリューションの提供により、関東地方整備局のインフラ分野のDXの促進、およびインフラDX推進の未来を担う人材の育成に貢献していきます。
