三菱重工、防衛省向け3,900トン型護衛艦「のしろ」の命名・進水式を長崎で実施

東京, 2021年06月22日 - (JCN Newswire) - 三菱重工業は本日、防衛省向け3,900トン型護衛艦の命名・進水式を、当社長崎造船所本工場（長崎市飽の浦町）にて実施しました。

本艦は、令和元年度に発注を受けた3,900トン型護衛艦「もがみ」型の3番艦で、「のしろ」と命名されました。今後、船体・機関・電気・武器など艤装工事を実施した後、来年度中に防衛省へ引き渡される予定です。

三菱重工は、陸・海・空にまたがる防衛装備品事業を一元的に運営し、技術的シナジーを発揮するなかで、機能・性能ならびにコストパフォーマンスに優れた最新鋭の艦艇を開発・設計・建造し、就役後の維持整備にも積極的に対応しています。今後もトータルシップインテグレーターとして、省人化や無人化、サイバーセキュリティ、ライフサイクルコストの低減といった顧客の抱える課題に応え、従来の枠組みにとらわれない新しい護衛艦の開発に注力していきます。
