三菱重工、艦艇・官公庁船の新事業会社「三菱重工マリタイムシステムズ」が始動へ

性能に優れた製品を通じて日本の海洋安全保障へ一層貢献

東京, 2021年08月02日 - (JCN Newswire) - 三菱重工業（以下、三菱重工）は、株式会社三井E&Sホールディングスとの株式譲渡契約に基づいて三井E&S造船株式会社の艦艇・官公庁船事業を承継する事業会社の社名について、「三菱重工マリタイムシステムズ株式会社」（以下、三菱重工マリタイムシステムズ、英文：Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Maritime Systems Co., Ltd.）とすることに決定しました。今後、公正取引委員会の審査結果が得られた後、改めて営業開始日をお知らせします。

今回の新事業会社発足により、三菱重工と三菱重工マリタイムシステムズが互いに強みとする技術および技能を融合させ、一体となって艦艇・官公庁船事業の製品ラインアップ拡充や製品開発力強化、生産効率向上を目指します。特に、近年その重要性が増している海洋分野での省人化・自動化技術や無人機開発においては、両社がこれまで培ってきたリソースを統合することで開発力・設計力を強化し、運用者のニーズに合致した新製品の市場投入を加速していきます。
