昭和電工、クロロプレンゴムの販売価格改定を発表

東京, 2021年08月20日 - (JCN Newswire) - 昭和電工株式会社（社長：森川宏平）は、合成樹脂の一種であるクロロプレンゴム（商標名：ショウプレン(R)）の販売価格を引き上げることを決定いたしました。

１．価格改定の内容

(1)値上げ幅
ショウプレン(R) 42円／kg以上

(2)実施時期
2021年9月10日出荷分より

２．価格改定の背景

ショウプレン(R)は耐油性・耐熱性・耐候性・難燃性に優れた特長を持ち、ラテックス製品は医療用器具、接着剤、防水材などに、ドライ製品は自動車用部品や土木・建築・工業用部品などに利用されています。

ショウプレン(R)事業を取り巻く環境は、需要が急回復し世界的に供給が不足しているだけでなく、各種原材料や電力等のユーティリティ、物流費や設備維持費の高騰などにより急激に悪化しております。本製品の安定供給を維持していくためには、自助努力によるコスト削減に加えて、お客様にコストアップ分の一部のご負担をお願いせざるを得ないとの結論に達しました。
