東邦ガスと三菱重工エンジン＆ターボチャージャ、コージェネレーションシステム用ガスエンジン商品機で都市ガス・水素混焼の試験運転に成功
水素混焼率35%での定格運転は国内初
東京, 2021年08月26日 - (JCN Newswire) - 東邦ガス株式会社（社長：増田 信之）と三菱重工エンジン＆ターボチャージャ株式会社（社長：梶野 武）は、コージェネレーションシステム（以下、「コージェネ」）用のガスエンジン商品機を用いた都市ガス・水素混焼実証に共同で取り組み、定格発電出力、水素混焼率35％（体積比）での試験運転に国内で初めて（注1）成功しました。
本実証は、既にお客さま先に設置済みのコージェネに対し大幅な改造を加えることのない範囲で都市ガス・水素混焼運転を実現するための知見獲得を目的に、東邦ガス技術研究所（愛知県東海市）において、三菱重工エンジン＆ターボチャージャ製ガスエンジン商品機を用いて行ってきたものです。都市ガス・水素混焼においては、異常燃焼（バックファイア（注2）、ノッキング（注3）、プレイグニッション（注4））の発生が課題となりますが、このたび空気と燃料の投入比率の調整等により、安定した燃焼状態での運転を確認しました。
両社は、更に水素混焼率を高めるための研究を継続し、水素利用技術の進展と水素社会の実現に貢献してまいります。
