三菱電機、濃縮余剰汚泥を対象とした下水処理場向け「オゾン可溶化反応装置」を開発

バイオガス20%以上増産と温室効果ガス削減に貢献

東京, 2021年11月17日 - (JCN Newswire) - 三菱電機株式会社（以下、三菱電機）と日鉄エンジニアリング株式会社（以下、日鉄エンジニアリング）は、下水汚泥に含まれる微生物を主体とする難分解成分をオゾンガスで効率的に溶かす「オゾン可溶化（※1）反応装置」を開発し、日本下水道新技術機構の建築技術審査証明（※2）を取得しました。

■開発の特長

攪拌技術と高濃度オゾンを適用した「オゾン可溶化反応装置」により、バイオガス増産を実現
- 特殊な攪拌（かくはん）翼を用いて、下水汚泥に注入した高濃度オゾンの気泡を微細化して均一に分散させる撹拌技術を開発
- 撹拌技術と高濃度オゾンの適用により、散気による一般的なオゾン処理ではオゾン消費率（※3）30%以下だった濃縮余剰汚泥をオゾン消費率80%以上で可溶化
- 可溶化した濃縮余剰汚泥の利用で、分解時に発生するバイオガスの従来比22%（※4）増産を確認
- 濃縮余剰汚泥の可溶化により消化槽における下水汚泥の分解を促進し、廃棄汚泥の削減に貢献
- 既設の下水処理場に本装置を容易に設置でき、大規模システムの新規構築が不要

■今後の展開

今後、実証試験で得た知見を基に実用化を目指すとともに、下水処理場におけるさらなるバイオマスの有効利用に向け開発を進めます。
