マツダ、新型「キャロル」を発売

デザイン一新、マイルドハイブリッドシステム搭載車も追加

広島, 2021年12月23日 - (JCN Newswire) - マツダ株式会社（以下、マツダ）は、低燃費と使い勝手の良さでご好評いただいている軽自動車「キャロル」を全面改良し、全国のマツダ販売店を通じて、2022年1月中旬から発売します。

今回の全面改良では、親しみやすく愛着のわくデザインを採用し、内外装を一新しました。安全面では、ガラスエリアを拡大し、視界を広くしたほか、夜間の歩行者も検知するデュアルカメラブレーキサポートなど衝突時の被害軽減に貢献する安全装備を全車に標準装備しました。また、パッケージングでは全高・室内高・室内幅の拡大により、広い室内空間を実現しました。さらに、マイルドハイブリッドシステム搭載車をラインナップに追加して、高い環境性能と燃費性能を実現しています。

尚、新型「キャロル」は経済産業省や国土交通省が普及を推進する「サポカーS ワイド」*1、国土交通省による「衝突被害軽減ブレーキ（AEBS2）認定車」*2に該当します。
