富士通、AIなど最先端テクノロジーの社会浸透・信頼確保の実現を目的としたAI倫理ガバナンス室の新設

当社は、今後ますます進展するAIの社会実装に対し、安心・安全なAIがお客様や社会へもたらす価値のさらなる創出を目指し、2019年3月に「富士通グループAIコミットメント」を策定しました。さらに2019年9月には、当社グループのAI倫理について第三者の客観的な評価を受ける仕組みとして、外部の有識者で構成される委員会を設置し、以来、当社グループのAI倫理に関するコーポレート・ガバナンスの充実を図ってきました。

今回新たに、AIをはじめとする最先端テクノロジーの社会浸透・信頼確保の実現を加速するため、2月1日付で「AI倫理ガバナンス室（室長：荒堀淳一）」を新設します。

当社は、最先端テクノロジーの研究・開発・実装にまつわる倫理に関する国際的な動向、政策、法制度の動向などを踏まえ、AI倫理ガバナンスに関する全社的かつ総合的な取り組みをさらに強化していきます。
