TOYOTA GAZOO Racing、2022年もカスタマーモータースポーツ活動のサポートを推進

豊田, 2022年03月17日 - (JCN Newswire) - TOYOTA GAZOO Racing（以下、TGR）は、2022年のカスタマーモータースポーツ活動＊1計画を発表しました。

本年も、世界中で実施される様々なカスタマーモータースポーツのサポートを積極的に実施し、レースの現場から得られるお客様の貴重なフィードバックを通して、モータースポーツを起点としたもっといいクルマづくりを推進します。

日本では、明日、3月18日より2022年のスーパー耐久シリーズが開幕します。今年のスーパー耐久シリーズには、LEXUS RC F GT3が1台、GR Supra GT4が3台がエントリーされており、TGRのカスタマーモータースポーツ車両を使用して4チームに参戦いただく予定です。

世界においても、北米のIMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship、タイのThailand Super Seires、欧州のGT4 European Seriesなど、様々なシリーズで、昨年よりさらに多くのお客様にLEXUS RC F GT3とGR Supra GT4でレース参戦いただく予定です。

参戦を通してお客様からいただいたご意見は、今後の開発や製品のアップデートに繋げます。TGRは、モータースポーツを愛する世界中のお客様が気軽にレースを楽しんでいただけることを目指し、カスタマーモータースポーツに一層力を入れてまいります。
