日本初、KDDI様が富士通の量子インスパイアード技術「デジタルアニーラ」による基地局設定の最適化で通信品質を改善

東京, 2022年03月18日 - (JCN Newswire) - KDDI株式会社（本社: 東京都千代田区、代表取締役社長: 髙橋誠、以下 KDDI）様は、2022年1月から2月までに日本で初めて（注1）、量子インスパイアード技術である当社の「デジタルアニーラ」（注2）を活用し、基地局における通信品質の改善を図りました。東京都および神奈川県にある基地局のうち約1,000局の設定を最適化し、対象基地局を利用するお客様の通信速度がさらに向上したことで、動画などの大容量コンテンツを今まで以上に快適に利用可能になりました。

今後、当社は、2022年度以降にKDDI様が目指している東名阪の都心部を中心とする4G LTEおよび5Gのさらなる通信品質向上においても、「デジタルアニーラ」を通じて貢献していきます。

今般、KDDI様に利用いただいた「FUJITSU Digital Annealer クラウドサービス」は、当社が2020年に開発した、10万ビット規模の大規模な実問題の高速求解が可能な、ソフトウェア技術とハードウェア技術のハイブリッドシステムによる「第三世代デジタルアニーラ」をクラウドサービスとして提供するもので、今後、KDDI様が対象基地局拡大などの展開を図られる際にも、柔軟かつスムーズに拡張利用が可能です。
