三菱電機、尾張旭地区の新生産拠点を設立
名古屋製作所のFA制御システム製品の生産能力増強
東京, 2022年03月28日 - (JCN Newswire) - 三菱電機株式会社は、FA制御システム事業強化のため、愛知県尾張旭市内の土地を取得し、FA制御システム製品の新たな生産拠点を設立します。
半導体・電子部品・データセンターなどのデジタル関連分野やリチウムイオンバッテリーなどの脱炭素関連分野を中心に、FA制御システム製品の中長期的な需要拡大が見込まれます。
これらの需要に対応するため、約130億円を投資して新生産拠点を設立し、名古屋製作所のFA制御システム製品の生産体制を強化します。稼働開始は、2025年4月を予定しています。
新生産拠点の特長
新生産拠点は、FA制御システム製品の次世代工場として、5G通信とAIの活用に加え、FA統合ソリューション「e-F @ctory※1」に基づいた高度なSCM・ECM※2の構築により、生産性・品質の改善サイクルを高速化し、納期の短縮と高品質・高効率な生産を実現します。
当社のオートメーション技術活用による生産工程の自動化拡大に加え、AGVの活用による物流の効率化や生産現場のデジタルツイン化による同期生産などにより、需要変動に強い生産体制を構築し、お客さまへの製品安定供給に貢献します。また、CO2排出量削減の取り組み強化により、カーボンニュートラルの実現を目指します。
