IHIと富士通、ブロックチェーン技術を活用した新たな環境価値流通プラットフォームの実現に向けた共同事業プロジェクトを開始
世界的な需要が著しいCO2削減量などの環境価値取引を実現
東京, 2022年04月12日 - (JCN Newswire) - 株式会社IHI（本社：東京都江東区、代表取締役社長：井手 博、以下「IHI」）と富士通株式会社（本社：東京都港区、代表取締役社長：時田 隆仁、以下「富士通」）は、カーボンニュートラルの実現に向けた貢献と、新たな環境価値取引（注1）エコシステムの市場活性化を目指した共同事業プロジェクトを2022年4月1日より開始しました。本共同事業プロジェクトは、現在世界規模で取り組みが進められている、企業や国を超えた効率的なCO2削減量などの環境価値取引市場に対して、両社の持つブロックチェーン技術やカーボンニュートラル関連技術に基づくビジネス知見を活用した環境価値流通プラットフォームの市場適用と活性化に向けて取り組むものです。
具体的には、IHIのIoT基盤「ILIPS」（アイリップス／IHI group Lifecycle Partner System）（注2）を通じて収集されたデータから算出したCO₂削減量を環境価値としてトークン（注3）化し、異なるブロックチェーン同士を安全に相互接続する富士通の「ConnectionChain」を活用して環境価値取引市場に流通させるプラットフォームを立ち上げ、効率的な環境価値の流通を目指します。
両社は、本共同事業プロジェクトを通じて立ち上げるプラットフォームにより、世界各国の企業が創出するCO₂削減量などの環境価値の効率的な流通を目指すとともに、世界共通の目標であるカーボンニュートラル社会の実現に貢献することを目指します。
