マツダ、VOC回収技術が「市村地球環境産業賞貢献賞」を受賞

広島, 2022年04月15日 - (JCN Newswire) - マツダ株式会社（以下、マツダ）は、第54回市村賞（主催：公益財団法人市村清新技術財団）において、同社のVOC*1回収技術が「市村地球環境産業賞貢献賞」を受賞したことを、本日公表しました。

市村賞は、科学技術の進歩や産業の発展に貢献した技術開発者を表彰するもので、同団体による贈呈式が本日行われました。*2

今回、マツダが受賞した「市村地球環境産業賞貢献賞」は、地球温暖化防止に関する産業分野を対象としており、受賞対象のVOC回収技術は、自動車の塗装乾燥工程において発生するVOCを、ヒートポンプを利用し回収処理することによって、環境負荷低減および省エネルギーを実現する技術です。

マツダは環境負荷低減のため、材料機能と設備機能の追究によりCO2とVOCを同時削減する「アクアテック塗装」*3技術を2009年から開発、導入しています。

今回の技術では、燃焼によってVOCを除去する従来の方法に代えて、ヒートポンプで水蒸気を凝縮させた水（凝縮水）にVOC成分を吸着させ、水とともに回収するシステムを採用することにより、塗装乾燥炉からの排気ゼロを実現。従来比63％のCO2削減（年間で約710トンの削減）を見込んでいます。また、システム内の熱や水を再利用することにより、水資源や電力の節減にも貢献します。

マツダでは、同技術を既に一部の工場塗装ラインにおいて導入しており、順次展開していく予定です。
