三菱電機、トルコの空調機生産拠点に新工場を建設し生産体制強化
欧州およびトルコにおけるAir To Waterとルームエアコンの需要増加に対応
東京, 2022年05月27日 - (JCN Newswire) - 三菱電機株式会社は、トルコの空調機生産拠点Mitsubishi Electric Turkey Klima Sistemleri Uretim Anonim Sirketi（三菱電機エア・コンディショニング・システムズ・マニュファクチャリング・トルコ、以下、MACT）において、ヒートポンプ式暖房・給湯機 Air To Water※（エア・トゥ・ウォーター）とルームエアコンの事業拡大に向け、約130億円を投資して新工場を建設し、生産体制を強化します。
当社は、2025年度を目標とした中期経営計画において、空調冷熱システム事業を重点成長事業の一つと定め、グローバルでの事業拡大に取り組んでいます。なかでも、成長戦略の重要地域と位置付けている欧州市場では、脱炭素政策により、暖房・給湯用の熱源が化石燃料使用のボイラーからヒートポンプへと置換えが活発化しており、Air To Water市場が急速に拡大しています。また、気候変動影響により、ルームエアコンは、贅沢品から必需品へと志向が変化しており需要拡大が見込まれています。
当社は、成長市場である欧州およびトルコにおける安定した製品供給を実現するため、2016年のMACT設立以来、継続的な投資を実施しており、2021年の約20億円の投資に加え、今回さらに約130億円を追加投資して新たに工場を建設し、Air To Waterとルームエアコンの生産能力を増強します。
