Honda、広汽Honda EV新工場の建設を開始
東京, 2022年06月21日 - (JCN Newswire) - Hondaの中国現地法人である本田技研工業（中国）投資有限公司（本社：北京 総経理 井上勝史）は、2022年6月20日現地時間20時（日本時間：21時）に以下を発表しましたので、その内容をご案内いたします
Hondaの中国における四輪車生産販売合弁会社である広汽本田汽車有限公司（以下、広汽Honda）は、今後投入を拡大する電気自動車（EV）の生産体制構築に向け、EV新工場の建設を開始しました。
EV専用となる新工場は、2024年の稼働開始を目指して広東省広州市の広州経済技術開発区内に建設され、敷地面積は40万m2、生産能力は12万台／年を予定しています。新工場への投資額は34.9億元を計画しており、太陽光発電を始めとした再生可能エネルギーの活用など、サステナブルな取り組みを積極的に進めるほか、先進的な生産技術を数多く導入することで、高効率、スマート、低炭素なEV工場を目指します。
Hondaは中国において、2027年までにEV「e:N（イーエヌ）」シリーズを10車種発売することを予定しています。新工場は、今後広汽Hondaが展開する幅広いEVラインアップを支える象徴的な生産拠点となるだけでなく、同じく2024年に稼働開始を計画する東風本田汽車有限公司（以下、東風Honda）のEV新工場とともに、Hondaの中国におけるEV生産の基幹拠点となります。
なお、2024年には、広汽Honda・東風HondaそれぞれのEV新工場稼働開始により、中国におけるHondaの四輪生産能力は173万台／年となります。
今後もHondaは、2050年カーボンニュートラルの実現に向けた電動化の取り組みを加速し、お客様の期待を超える魅力ある商品を提供していきます。
